Welcome to Simon Technical Services

Simon Technical Services (STS) specialise in the management of water and heat exchangers used in industry. We offer three distinct services, namely:

1. dredging
2. site water treatment
3. heat exchanger sales and service

STS operate a mini-dredge that is perfectly suited for cleaning of lined dams, lagoons and ponds. The dredge will not damage the lining material and has been proven on numerous sites. We offer dewatering services using either geosynthetic dewatering tubes or mechanical dewatering. If environmental management of the waste is required then STS can assist here also, with decontamination if necessary.

We conduct water management and recycling of process and potable waters, with a special focus on scale and corrosion control. Process waters can be analysed and modelled for scale and corrosion potential. We construct and supply filtration systems for industrial and domestic markets as well as offering complete media change-out services for media filters, activated carbon and ion exchange.

STS also supply and service heat exchangers, offering site servicing or complete overhauls in our Townsville based workshop. We supply gaskets for all makes of plate heat exchangers, offer chemical cleaning services, hydrotesting, re-tubing services and performance monitoring.
